Oscars 2013

Today's buzz? Of course is the Oscars 2013. Did you see it? Unfortunately I missed it but updated myself a few minutes ago. Honestly, I'm a little shocked Jennifer Lawrence won the Best Lead Actress award for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook". It was a good movie and Bradley Cooper was great in it and all but I still think maybe it wasn't an Oscar great for her lead role.

As for the rest of the awards, it was pretty much dead on even though some are saying Ang Lee shouldn't have won Best Director for "Life of Pi". Personally, I thought it was a phenomenal movie with a good script and creative filming. But hey, what do I know? I'm just another movie goer with an opinion.

Now for the more important news: What was everyone wearing? This time around, I made a list with only two categories. "Best Dressed" and "What The Hell Was She Thinking?"

Anyone see a pattern here? There's a lot of gunmetal metallics and geometric shapes. I wasn't sure if I like Halle Berry's dress at first, but she's one of the only people who can pull off a dress like that and she deserves credit.

Heidi, let's get real. You're too old for that neckline and it's borderline offensive. I don't even want to get into Jennifer's prom dress and what was up with Kristen's crutches? Anyone know? Finally, I didn't know they made gum balls in gray.... I hope you enjoyed my short list!
